Tourism Generator: Cocktail Trail

Updated: 2 hours ago

A self-guided urban adventure that takes visitors on a quest to discover Braselton's best cocktails, this campaign turns local hospitality into a key economic driver. Trailblazers explore bars, breweries and taprooms along the trail.
To maximize engagement, we deployed an omni-channel marketing strategy—a synchronized mix of print, digital, social and broadcast assets designed to capture attention at every touchpoint.

A Note on Creating an Attraction
Tours and trails are powerful destination marketing tools because:
They give visitors an anytime, year-round attraction that is not limited by seasonality or a single business's operating hours.
You do not need to invent an attraction from scratch—the core assets already exist. As the "tour guide," our role is mixology: blending local culinary and beverage highlights into a seamless, high-value experience.
Cocktail Trail Commercial
We produced targeted video advertising deployed across Effectv and linear/OTT platforms, focused on high-income demographics in Metro Atlanta and streamed on YouTube. The spot was also cross-promoted across social channels. Production included studio photography, videography at Sunrise Studios and post-production editing in Premiere Pro.

Print and Digital Pocket Guide
Trailblazers use the Cocktail Pocket Guide to locate participating venues and select their drinks. This collateral—a physical marketing piece designed to inform and engage—was designed in Adobe InDesign, while the custom map was crafted in Adobe Illustrator.

Merchandise
Branded collateral and merchandise include:
Custom t-shirt design
Print promotional materials
Coasters
Tumblers
Branded glassware

Companion Webpage
The companion webpage was built on the Wix CMS. In addition to the pocket guide content, the site features an interactive Google Map and a downloadable, print-at-home PDF guide. An interactive stop carousel lets users browse individual venues, view menu highlights and filter stops by neighborhood.

Branding & merchandise
From concept to delivery, we partnered with the Explore Braselton tourism team to turn creative concepts into high-impact brand assets. We then provided print-ready files that could be used for all campaign merchandise.

Print & digital guides
Graphic design and layout for the official tour guide. We developed both a high-resolution print brochure and an interactive digital download optimized for mobile devices.

Cartography
Custom vector map created in Adobe Illustrator featuring participating Braselton venues, primary routes, trolley stops and key regional attractions. The layout includes a zoomed-in section detailing Historic Downtown Braselton for easy navigation.

Photography, videography & voiceover script
On-location capture of local venues and signature cocktails to produce custom digital collateral—marketing assets designed to drive engagement. Content was deployed across print ads, digital campaigns and social reels. Voiceover scripts were written and professionally edited in-house.

Editing and graphic design
Full-service post-production—the editing phase where raw footage becomes a polished story—for video reels created in Adobe Premiere Pro. Graphic design for digital ad creative and web assets was developed across InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Ad creative submission
Broadcast video prep including closed-captioning compliance for commercial television and YouTube deployment. All print and digital assets underwent preflight—a thorough quality check to ensure technical file specifications match printer and publisher requirements before distribution. Completed reels were handed off directly to the tourism social media coordinator.
